Today on 21st Sep 25, Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sanstha, Thane, hosted a transformative event for over 70 students of the Study Centre, focusing on holistic development through health awareness, career guidance, and spiritual inspiration on a auspicious day of Birth Anniversary of Swami Akhandananda Maharaj. All students were offered prasad, adding a touch of warmth and tradition to the day’s proceedings.
Led by Dr. Bhavan Doshi, students received valuable insights into maintaining physical well-being, along with personalized health assessments.
Mr. Pradip Mitra conducted an engaging session to help students explore career paths aligned with their strengths and aspirations.
Dr. Devayani Awade beautifully shared the life and teachings of Swami Akhandananda Maharaj, inspiring students with stories of service, discipline, and spiritual growth.

On a serene Sunday evening, over 100 devotees gathered for a soul-stirring Satsang, and prayer session graced by revered monks: Swami Aryananda, Swami Buddhananda, Swami Medhajananda , and Swami Jnyangamyananda
The Swamijis arrived at 5:20 PM, setting a divine tone with the Aarti of Bhagwan Sri Ramakrishna, sung by Swami Jnyangamyananda Maharaj, followed by the devotional chant "Ramakrishna Sharanam" led by Swami Buddhananda Maharaj.
The Swamiji's were honored with Bookey, shawl, and Pranami, expressing heartfelt gratitude from the devotees.
Swami Jnyangamyananda Maharaj opened the session by emphasizing the purpose of spiritual activities—to transcend material existence and experience Paramananda, the supreme bliss, as revealed by Bhagwan Sri Ramakrishna.
Swami Medhajananda Maharaj quoted Adi Shankaracharya’s Vivekchudamani, highlighting the rarity of human birth (Manushyatvam), the desire for liberation (Mumukshatvam), and the grace of saintly association (Mahapurusha Samshrayah). He praised the attendees’ spiritual inclination and illustrated Navadha Bhakti through Shabari’s devotion, encouraging householders to engage in Shravan, Satsang, Kirtan, and Namajapa
Swami Buddhananda Maharaj spoke on the practical nature of Ramakrishna Math’s mission—Sanvedanshil Seva or sensitive service to humanity. He shared inspiring stories of:

Balaram Basu, who personally performed humble tasks for Thakur despite his wealth.
Aghormani Devi, who renounced comfort to preserve her spiritual focus.
Swami Aryananda Maharaj concluded the discourses by urging devotees to seek the true meaning of scriptures through the lives of saints. He narrated:

Sharat Maharaj’s compassion toward a devotee who had misbehaved in his eagerness to see Maa Sarada.

The evening concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Devayani Awade, followed by Khichadi and Payasam for devotees and Bhojan Prasad for the Swamijis.

In a noble initiative to serve humanity, Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sanstha (SRVS), in collaboration with Shriram Sanskar Seva Charitable Trust, organized a successful Blood Donation Camp on 24 August 2025.
A dedicated team of 21 doctors and volunteers ensured smooth operations throughout the day. The camp witnessed an inspiring turnout of 72 donors, each contributing to the life-saving cause with compassion and enthusiasm
Post donation, donors were offered refreshments including biscuits and tea, along with a Certificate of Participation as a token of appreciation. The event culminated in a special moment when Kai. Wamanrao Oka Raktapedi presented a Certificate of Recognition to SRVS, Thane, honoring their commitment to public welfare

Rev. Swami Vipashananda graced the gathering with a profound discourse centered on the sacred principle of Shiv Bhave Jeev Seva—serving all beings as manifestations of the Divine. Drawing inspiration from the life of Swami Akhandananda, Maharaj ji narrated how the revered saint selflessly tended to the sick while journeying through the Himalayas, embodying the spirit of divine service. Maharaj ji emphasized that every action in our daily lives—be it mundane or significant—should be performed with the awareness that we are serving God through our work
He encouraged all devotees to practice Śravaṇa (listening), Manana (reflection), and Nididhyāsana (deep contemplation) to internalize noble thoughts and elevate their spiritual consciousness.
The devotees were deeply moved and enriched by Maharaj ji’s wisdom and compassionate guidance. The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Devayani Awade, followed by Pranam to Maharaj ji, marking the end of a spiritually uplifting evening.
The August Satsang at Ramakrishna Mandir, Godrej Exquisite, Thane was a spiritually uplifting gathering attended by around 40 devotees. The evening began with Arati, followed by Dhyan that set a serene tone for the program. Swami Aparokshananda Maharaj delivered an insightful discourse on the Vachanamrut, offering deep reflections and practical wisdom.

A Holistic Wellness Camp was successfully conducted on 27th July 2025 at Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sanstha, Thane, led by Dr. Swami Dayadhipanada Maharaj from Ramakrishna Mission Hospital.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 40 attendees. Dr. Swami Dayadhipanada Maharaj, along with his dedicated team of volunteers, carried out health check-ups and consultations for all participants. Following the check-ups, a highly informative presentation was delivered on using Yoga as a therapeutic tool for lifestyle-related diseases.
Dr. Swami Dayadhipanada Maharaj also conducted a live demonstration of various Pranayama techniques, offering practical insights into their benefits and correct practice.
The camp concluded on a spiritually uplifting note with the devotional song "Ramakrishna Sharanam", followed by the distribution of Millet Khichadi Prasad, promoting both wellness and mindful eating.
